AVL launch new service to tackle MOT clampdowns

With local authorities in other European countries clamping down on English drivers whose vehicles are without MOT, AVL has launched a new service to tackle the problem. Now if your MOT expires while you are residing in another European country, AVL can pick it up from any location, have it transported back to the UK, arrange an MOT, then return it directly back to your holiday home. This service is currently only available for collections in France, Spain and Portugal, however, other countries are to follow in 2012.
